Steps
1. Video upload
The video file with abstract and associated metadata is uploaded using a web portal or app.
2. Validation
Format for metadata, video and text is validated. [automated]
3. Editorial review
A brief editorial review is conducted to ensure the content is relevant to healthcare and medical.
4. Technical review
utilizing AI and audio/video review software the video is scanned for metadata, quality, noise and any potential issues. [Automated]
5. Educational review
Provides best practise to publishers and creators to improve the educational quality and storytelling. [Automated]
6. Legal review
Validates the pledges/statements the creator added during upload process. [Automated]
7. Peer review
Peers/Field experts are sourced from existing or new sources. Video is played with an automated review questionnaire, enabling the reviewer to comment, reject or accept the video and associated abstract.
8. ISSN
Once review is approved an ISSN number is assigned and a Smart contract is automatically executed, creating a public and transparent ledger of the review process.
9. Added to Blockchain
Video is provided to the creator with the blockchain smart contract transaction hash for validation.
10. Done
Video hosting url (provided by creator) and abstract is indexed and stored by Openology.
